The Voice came to know about this incidence through some sources. A team comprised of Adv. Aneeqa Maria, Mr. Shahid Anthony, Mr. Khurram Akhtar, Mr. Mehboob and Mr. Gohar left Lahore early in the morning for Narowal, Dhomala Village. We went to the house of the maternal Grandmother of the Victim named Nisha Morris.
Fact Finding Report:
The Voice team met the family of the Victim and asked about the details of the incidence. The Grandmother named Parveen Bibi told the Voice team that they are having enmity with the family of the Culprits because the Muslims consider themselves to be the kings of the land and thus they are trying to grab our land which we are not agreed to give them for this reason they abducted the girl Nisha and raped her brutally.
Parveen’s statement:
She told the Voice team that police have got the Medico-Legal Report from District head quarters Narowal and thus an FIR got registered against the culprits on 8-04-2012 in the police station Saddar Narowal u/s 376 PPC in accordance with the Medical Report which is not correct. It is the occurrence of March 29th 2012 when three men raped her granddaughter but police arranged her medical after 8 days of occurrence. But this was not enough for the culprits, when they came to know about the FIR they again came on 6th of May along with 20 men and attacked the place where the women were working and feeding their cattle. The men were having sticks and pipes in their hands and they started beating the women. The women were Parveen herself, her two daughters and her two daughter in laws among which one named Nosheen was six months pregnant. The men did not even cared about the situation of Nosheen Bibi and beaten her so badly that she misfortunately had a miscarriage. Police that was involved in the matter and was supporting the culprits did not cared or listened to the Victims, when the matter came into media than the police came and took Nosheen to the hospital for the medical checkup after 4days and after wards registered an FIR u/s 147/149/452/354/ 338c of PPC on 12th of May 2012. Parveen requested The Voice to help them legally because the police is not listening to them, they have not joined the investigation because the police is threatening them.
Asher’s Statement:.He told the Voice team that the Muslim man named Shahid, along with the others, abducted Nisha Moris, 13, the daughter of Moris Masih, a resident of Dhomala Narowal city of Sialkot region of Punjab province, and took her to their place and forcibly raped her.  Asher said that at first her family thought that she must be to the other house, but when she did not came back, “We went out in search for her,”
The father then reported the matter to the Saddar Police Station, but apparently they did not register a case against this particular man for raping the Christian girl. The next day, when family found their girl and protested against the incidence, the family was beaten including several women. To make matters worse, Nosheen wife of Asher, who was pregnant, lost her baby after the beating by the Muslim family. Asher said that they went to the civil hospital for the medical report, but claimed that even then the doctor didn’t give the actual report because he said that “those people are very influential” I cannot take the risk.
The Voice collected the information from the neighbors and from the documents, newspapers whatever they had to show us. Later we went to the police station and found out that the police is telling one sided story. They are supporting the Culprits because the culprits are the Chauhdry’s of the village and are also have very strong political and police background. In these circumstances we have assessed that Nosheen Bibi or Nisha will never find justice. Therefore we have decided to get the investigation changed and the family will be shifted to Lahore under the supervision and shelter of The Voice because back there in the village the police themselves is threatening the victims. The Voice have took up the case and are now preparing to oppose the bail in the court of Additional and sessions Judge Narowal against the culprits on 22nd of May 2012.
