Incidence:
On Easter day a shameful and awful incidence of Rape of 7 years old girl occurred in a Village of Daska, Sialkot named Malleyki. The little girl named Saira Iqbal daughter of Iqbal Masih aged 7 years went to buy herself some sweets as she got Easter money/gift of Rs 50 PKR from her elder brother. She was more than happy to get money as Easter gift and ran out to treat herself, when she was kidnapped by the rapists named Fakhar e Alam alias phool and Zulfiqar Ali. They took her to the small Mansion’s outhouse of Akhtar Ali Nagra a rich resident and landlord of the village and raped her. Her brother Shahbaz when she did not returned for long went out to see her along with Emmanuel another brother of Saira. They kept on looking for Saira, when they crossed the Masion’s wall they heard the cries of little Saira. They broke into the outhouse and saw that Fakhar was raping Saira while Zulfiqar was looking his back and was holding the door. When he saw the brothers of SairaZulfiqar fled away while Fakhar stood there unwearyingly and fearlessly threatening Saira’s brothers and offering them money to stay quiet on this matter. Both her brothers took Saira into their arms and brought her home and than along with their mother they took her to hospital.
The Voice:
The family contacted the Voice after two days when police station Daska of Police refused to lodge an FIR against the Culprits. The Voice team contacted Mr. GoharNafees District Police officer (DPO) of the City Sialkot and told him about the whole incidence and asked him to visit Saira in Civil hospital Sialkot. Saira was admitted in Instant Care Unit (ICU) and was very critical. DPO visited her upon the stress of The Voice tem and then he ordered Station House Officer to register a case against the Culprits. The investigation is now under the supervision of Muhammad Arif (I.O). The case got registered on 23rd April while the incidence took place on 20th April. The Voice was succeeded in registering a case against the culprits whereas the little Saira is still under critical condition. The police arrested both culprits and they are behind the bars now. The Voice will fight for the right of Saira and contest the Bails and trial of the innocent girl so that she will get justice. The Voice so far is dealing with the case and will provide her Medical and legal assistance and help.
Police:
Deputy Superintendent of Police Daska Muhammad Shoaib Cheema disclosed this while talking to the Voice Society that the victim’s medical examination has already confirmed rape with her. Her condition was still stated to be critical at Daska Civil Hospital by the local doctors.
He added that the accused rapist Fakhar has confessed his sin. He said that the Daska police have also arrested another accused Zulfiqar Ali for halting the grieved Christian family to reach the Daska police and creating hurdles in the early registration of this case. According to the FIR(No. 152/ 2014) lodged under sections 201 and 376 PPC by the victim’s brother ShahbazMaseeh , FIR revealed that four days ago, the accused FakharAlam alias Phool criminally had raped a minor Christian girl Saira Iqbal Maseeh (seven years old) after taking her to his home while passing through near there.
Medical:
The medical officer in Saira’s case is Dr. Maria Aslam, the voice contacted Maria Aslam and requested her to pay special attention towards Maria and the Voice will pay all her expenses regarding her Medical treatment, no matter how long would it take. The Medical Reports also reveals the Rape clearly and the culprits were seen doing rape by the brothers of Saira. We know that we will be able to get Justice to little Saira.
